You may not have been with us since the beginning, but we started way back with Minecraft 1.2.5! I originally thought Minecraft to be a dumb boring basic game until i was introduced to the complexity you could get into with redstone. Then my adventures continued to expand when i was introduce to modpacks. My first modpack being Tekkit Classic 1.2.5! What a exciting tech pack, but yet a terrible nightmare to protect from griefing! I noticed as Minecraft continued to grow and change people were just killing old servers that they had to update the the new pack on the new versions of minecraft. Yet alot of adventure was being left behind in the old packs many of us enjoyed so much. As we watched our countless hours of builds fade away, some of us found an empty hole as we watched the old servers disappear.
Thus began the era of Mortis Mine! The second branch of MGN was born. I began to do countless hours of research on the hardware involved and the complexity of hosting a minecraft server. i wanted to provide a service that would keep all those old servers alive. So we started with some basic hardware. I was playing and hosting from the same pc just to try and give our community the ability to enjoy the classics while still having the ability to adventure on to the new servers.
Thus began the era of Mortis Mine! The second of many branches within the tech tree of Mortis Gaming Network!
